It’s now time to book your first delivery. Or pick up at our Mississauga p/u depot.
We simplify your life. Why wait in line at an auction house or spend time in traffic. Some auction houses do not even offer delivery. What is your time worth, what is the gas worth?
It makes sense. Instead of multiple different customer pickups, they deal with pkgPlace. It is faster and easier. They just wheel our pallet of goods to the loading dock and we do the rest. For shipping, they do not want additional chargebacks, customers looking for items, shipping companies and the costs of materials and people to pack and ship the items.
Most. Even when the auction offers shipping, we will still pick up there the customers. A few auction houses have chosen to not permit us to pick up at their locations for various reasons. For a list of the auction houses we pick up at, please create an account and have a look at the drop-down list of auctions we pick up at. If you do not see yours there, let us know.
We work with auction houses that want the best for the customers. Usually our customers let us know of the new locations.

Most things that fit inside a delivery van and can be delivered with one person. Sofas and furniture, appliances, and other big items are possible, however, we are not a moving company and only delivery to your doorstep.
Just remember, we only have one person locally, use third parties to help with our deliveries, and often deal with improperly packaged items.

Usually within 3 to 5 days after payment has been received for local deliveries and about a week for deliveries outside GTA-H.
Usually afternoons and evenings until 9:00. Weekends are common. So the short answer is anytime up until bedtime.
We leave it at the door. We usually notify customers on the day of delivery and upon delivery of the items. In certain circumstances, arrangements may be made. Reach out to us via e-mail.
We try to get your items to you in a timely manner, but this is not always possible. There are multiple causes for delay.
If your items are being shipped via third-party (i.e. UPS), we need to properly pack your items for the third-party shipper and then get an accurate shipping rate to invoice you. All this takes time.

Payment is due upon receipt. Any item(s) associated with an unpaid invoice will be considered abandoned if full payment is not received within seven (7) calendar days of the invoice date.
Occasionally the auction or customer will ask us to return an item to the auction. We will do this.
A return is still a delivery. All fees and conditions apply. However, if pkgPlace originally delivered the items to your address AND if the return is picked up at our convenience, a discount will be applied.
All pkgPlace standard pkg deliveries being returned are eligible for a discount up to 30% of the original shipping price. Larger items will have a reduced discount.
We do ask that you coordinate with the auction prior to having us pick up an item. If the auction refuses it, we will hold the item at our warehouse until the full price delivery charge (to return it to you) is paid.
If the auction is not included, the customer risks, beyond paying for the original delivery, paying for the return auction and then the return back to your address.

Once you are back, please send us a reminder to delivery your items.
The amount of any loss or damage for which pkgPlace may be liable, whether or not the loss or damage result from negligence, gross negligence or a failure to perform the contract, shall not exceed the lesser of CDN$100 or the value of the items, unless a value (for pkgPlace liability purposes) is agreed upon, in writing by pkgPlace and the shipper. We suggest you select ‘Insurance’ when booking your delivery.

We insure lost deliveries for up to $100 maximum per order. This is a common practice in the shipping industry. If you require greater insurance, please select the option when booking the order.
If you have an item missing please fill out a claim form and we can begin the process to recover your items.
Once received, we will reach out to our partner carrier and notify them of the missing item. Once they pay us, we will provide you the refund on the item and the shipping costs if it is the only item. If there were multiple boxes, we do not adjust the shipping rate and refund the item cost only.

If you have authorization from an auction to return an item, please visit our knowledge base for more details on how the process works. Please ensure you attach an email authorization to the request instead of the original invoice.

Due to new tariff regulations, especially on products made in China, many items are no longer duty-free. These policies are set by your country’s customs authority, and we recommend staying updated on applicable import duties and taxes through official government sources prior to booking any shipment with pkgPlace.
We understand this can be frustrating, but it’s part of the import process and applies to all packages entering the country under these conditions.
